Alberto Maldonado

Rosary for Alberto “Albert” Maldonado 53, of Lubbock will be held 7:00 P.M. Monday, July 2, 2018 at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel. Services for Mr. Maldonado will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Reynaldo Manriquez officiating.  Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home.

Albert was born January 15, 1965 in Lubbock to Luis and Augustina Maldonado, he passed away on June 28, 2018 in Lubbock. Albert was a handyman, he loved working around his house and keeping up with his yard. Playing dominoes, horseshoes and with his dog “Bear”. Cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and watching the show “Mash” always brought joy to his heart. His greatest joy in life however was spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his father Luis Maldonado.

Those left to honor his memory are his mother Augustina Maldonado of Lubbock; four sons Albert Maldonado Jr., Jason Maldonado, Robert Sabila and Steven Segovia all of Lubbock; daughters Amanda Flores of Lubbock, Vanessa Maldonado of New York and Leanna Maldonado of Lubbock; brother Luis Maldonado Jr. of Lubbock; sisters Isabel Flores, Gloria Armenta and Melinda Maldonado all of Lubbock; nineteen grandchildren.
