Valentina Morales

Valentina Serna Morales, 80, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2017 in Lubbock.  Services for Mrs. Morales are pending with Calvillo Funeral Home.
Valentina was born February 14, 1937 in Sandia, Texas to Santos & Maria Serna.  She married Reyes Vara Morales on December 28, 1958 in Tahoka and was a homemaker. She enjoyed singing, dancing, playing bingo and often sang in the church choir at St. Jude Catholic Church but most of all she loved being a grandmother and spending time with her family.
She is survived by three sons, Juan Carlos Morales, Rey Morales Jr., Gabino Morales all of Tahoka; two daughters, Angelita Jackson of Killeen, Rosie Diaz of Anton; one sister, Olivia Serna of Corpus Christi; fourteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Reyes Morales; a daughter, Maria Morales; two sons, Jose Morales, Miguel Morales; three brothers, Juan Serna, Teodoro Villarreal, Alfredo Villarreal; two sisters, Elodia Serna, Dominga Villarreal.
