Private viewing for Tomas Carrizales, 64, of Lubbock, was held Monday, October 12, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel-Lubbock. Cremation arrangements were made under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home.
Mr. Carrizales went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 8, 2020. He was born on September 22, 1956 in Taylor, Texas to Natividad Romo Carrizales and Hepolita Carrizales. Tomas was a master carpenter all his life. A person of many talents he enjoyed building numerous items for both work and as a hobby. Tomas also enjoyed antique collecting. He had a joyful passion for coaching kid’s baseball teams and he also found the time to go fishing. Apart from all his accomplishments he enjoyed being with his family. His memory will always be cherished by his loved ones.
Survivors include two daughters; Tabitha Beltran Cantu of California and Denise Marie McAlister of Odessa; three brothers David Carrizales, Santiago Carrizales both of Lubbock and Pablo Carrizales of Washington; four sisters Julia Nievez, Irene Silva, Pauline Wilson, and Isabel Sammons all of Lubbock; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister Guadalupe, and three brothers; Natividad, Felipe, and James.
According to local and state guidelines, facemasks will be required at all times during visitation and funeral services.
