Obituary:
Teodoro "Lolo" Garcia, 93 passed away Monday, January 21, 2013 at his residence. Services for Mr. Garcia will be 10:00 am Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Calvillo Funeral Home/Chapel with Roy Velez officiating. Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home. There will be a celebration of life service held 7:00 pm Tuesday evening at Calvillo Funeral Home.
Lolo was born January 6, 1920 in Runge to Encarncaion & Juaquina Garcia. He married Rosa Olivarez and she later passed away in 1970. He worked as a farmer for many years before retiring in 1970 and he loved to sing and dance.
He is survived by one daughter, Sara Benitez of Lubbock; six grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; twenty two great great grandchildren; one great great great grandchild.
He is preceded in death by one grandchild, Joe Castaneda; two brothers; five sisters; two great great grandchildren.
Casket Bearers for his service will be Andrew Maldonado, Johnny Castaneda, Johnny Ramirez, Homar Builtron Jr., Jimmy Ramirez, and Ricky Ramirez
