Tavita Martinez

Tavita Esmeralda Martinez, 75 passed away Friday, August 3, 2018 in Lubbock.  Memorial services for Ms. Martinez will be 11:00 am Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel

Tavita was born on July 25, 1943 to the late Espirion and Manuela Martinez in Littlefield. If she was not counting pennies or watching wrestling. You could find her listening to the “oldies“ or eating at her favorite restaurant Bryans Steakhouse.

She is preceded in death by her sisters Marcella Anaya, Julia Garcia and Mary Jane Martinez.

Those left to cherish her memory are her brother Isaac Martinez of Lubbock; sisters Corina Saldana, Lisa Smith both of Lubbock and Rose Moncrief of Plainview; A host of loving nieces and nephews as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.
