Sally Valdez

Viewing and visitation for Sally Ann Valdez, 57, of Tahoka will be from 10:00 a.m.to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel in Tahoka. With a rosary beginning at 6:00 pm. the same day. Funeral mass will be held 10:00 am, Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at St. Jude Catholic Church in Tahoka. (Due to the pandemic known as covid-19). St. Jude Catholic Church will only allow immediate family members in the church, and a maximum of forty people. However the speaker will be on outside the church, for those who wish to attend the service in their vehicles. (Face masks are required at the church and funeral home. Temperatures will be taken upon entering funeral home.) Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park all are welcomed to the cemetery. All arrangements were made under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel.

Sally Ann left to join her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 20, 2021.  She was born September 4, 1963 in Lubbock to the late Enrique (January 1, 1992) and Maria (January 8, 2001) Valdez. Sally Ann was Catholic; she worked as a caregiver and a cook for One Stop Burritos in Tahoka.  She enjoyed  dancing, bingo and loved her pets “Princess” and “Patches” but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her nieces, nephews and family. Her memory will always be remembered and cherished by her family and friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents Enrique and Maria Valdez; and by a brother Ricky Valdez (2010).

Those left to cherish her memory are her two brothers; David and wife Lori Valdez of Lubbock and Joe Valdez and partner Mary Garcia of Tahoka; one sister Nancy and husband Jimmy Jolly of Tahoka; a sister in law  Rosie Valdez of Lubbock; and a host of nieces and nephews.
