Rudolfo Jimenez "Rudy"

Viewing and visitation for Rudolfo C. Jimenez “Rudy”, 59 of Lubbock will be from 12:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Calvillo Funeral Chapel with a prayer service beginning at 6:00 p.m. the same day. The family has requested a private funeral service.

Mr. Jimenez was called to be with the Lord, Wednesday, November 11, 2020. He was born on March 31, 1961 in Lubbock to the late Erineo Sr. and Guadalupe C. Jimenez.  He married Julia Herrera on June 12, 1982 in Lubbock. Rudy worked for The City of Lubbock Solid Waste Department for twenty-five years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and watching football in particular his favorite team The Dallas Cowboys. Rudy also had a passion for playing foosball, so much that he was a world champion. His family will always remember and cherish the love he had for them.

Survivors include his wife Julia Jimenez of Lubbock; a son Izaiah Nicholas Jimenez of Lubbock;  three daughters, Vanessa Jimenez, Victoria Jimenez, and Ariah Jimenez all of Lubbock; four brothers, Ruben Jimenez of Jasper, Erineo Jimenez Jr. of Lubbock, Albert Jimenez of Colmesmeil, Texas and James Jimenez of Lubbock; two sisters, Delia Trevino of Lubbock and Hilda Martinez of Lubbock, one grandson, Zephaniah Xavier Jimenez of Lubbock.

He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; Robert Jimenez, Ernest Jimenez, and Daniel Jimenez.

According to local and state guidelines, facemasks will always be required during visitation and funeral services. Temperatures will be taken upon entering funeral home
