Rosa Prieto

Rosa G. Prieto, 88 of San Angelo passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021. Viewing and visitation will be Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel from 10:00 a.m.-8p.m. There will be a rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m., the same evening at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation arrangements were made under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel.

Rosa was born April 23, 1933, in Palo Alto, Texas to the late Rosalio and Concepcion Garza. Later In life Rosa went onto marry Louis Prieto in San Angelo, Texas cherishing many years of marriage before he preceded her in death in 1966. She was a homemaker, enjoyed crocheting, baking, and was a great cook. Apart from her everyday duties in her home, Rosa enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, listening to the radio, and watching television. However, her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, she will be greatly missed by all whom love her.

She is preceded in death by her husband Louis Prieto; her parents Rosalio and Concepcion Garza; sons Adam Prieto, Ernesto Prieto, and Steven Prieto; daughters Gloria Prieto and Anna Maria Prieto.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons Luis Prieto of San Antonio, Joe Prieto of Lubbock, Martin Prieto of Midland and Ramon Prieto of Lubbock; a daughter Adela Prieto of San Angelo; sisters Lupe Arrizola of Crowley and Sally Ramirez of Lubbock; twenty-five grandchildren, forty-seven great grandchildren and fifteen great great grandchildren.
