Rosa Maria Navarrette, 42 passed away Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Covenant Medical Center. A rosary was held at 7:00 pm Friday, August 9, 2013 at Calvillo funeral Home and Chapel.
Rosa was born February 10, 1971 in Levelland to Jesus and Josie Rodriguez. She was married to Israel Navarrette Sr. for over 20 years. She was a homemaker who loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren and family.
She is survived by her husband, Israel Navarrette Sr. of Lubbock; her mother, Josie Ramirez of Midland; one son, Israel Navarrette Jr. of Lubbock; two daughters, Mercedes Lopez and husband Joseph, Mariah Ann Navarrette all of Lubbock; two brothers, Jessie Rodriguez Jr. of Lubbock, Benny Rodriguez of Harlingen; two sisters, Lucy Rodriguez, Frances Ramirez both of Midland; two grandchildren, Savannah Lopez and Joseph Lopez Jr.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jessie Rodriguez; two sisters, Josie Acevedo, Maria Rodriguez.
