Rosa Liendo

Rosa Liendo, 78 of Tahoka passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022. Viewing and visitation for Ms. Liendo will begin Tuesday, June 21, 2022, from 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.  at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel in Tahoka with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. the same day. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, June 22, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church-Tahoka with Father Philip Pasupil officiating. Burial will follow at Nevels Cemetery in Tahoka.  All arrangements were made under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home & Chapel.

Rosa was born September 26, 1943, in Gonzales, Texas to the late Guadalupe Sr. and Consuelo Liendo.  Rosa enjoyed watching television, dancing, family gatherings and music. She helped raised her nieces and nephews and would try to give them what she could. Her family will always remember how Rosa had the biggest heart. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents Guadalupe Sr. and Consuelo Liendo; brothers; Guadalupe “Lupe” Liendo Jr. and Amador Liendo; sisters Hortencia Sepeda and Petra Sepeda.

Those left to cherish her memory are her four brothers; Jesus Liendo, Joe Liendo, Martin Liendo, and George Liendo all of Tahoka; six sisters, Helen Valvedre of Tahoka, Eva Sandoval of Lubbock, Maria Zamora of Bovina, Eloisa Quintero of Tahoka, Martha Gonzalez of Lubbock and Julia Martinez of Tahoka; and a host of nieces and nephews.
