Rogelio Garcia, 55, passed away Monday, June 7, 2021, in Crosbyton, Texas.  Services for Mr. Rivera will be 9:00a.m., Thursday, June 10, 2021, at St. Jude Catholic Church in Tahoka, Texas with Father John Rathinam officiating.  Burial will follow in Nevels Memorial Park in Tahoka, Texas under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home. Viewing will be 12:00-9:00pm on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, with a rosary at 7:00p.m. on the same day at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel (Tahoka, Texas).

Rogelio was born August 25, 1965 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Carlos and Maria Garcia.  He married Leticia Rodriguez in Mexico on December 24, 2001. He worked for R.E. Janes Gravel Co., as a machine operator for many years. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Tahoka. He was a hard worker and enjoyed life in many aspects; especially playing with his children, laughing, joking, and traveling. In many ways, he was a simple man and never met anyone he did not know. However, his greatest joy in life was spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his father Carlos Garcia (2007).

He is survived by his wife Leticia Garcia of Tahoka; his mother Maria Garcia; one son; Rogelio Garcia Jr. of Tahoka; two daughters Maribel Garcia and Candy T. Garcia both of Tahoka; three brothers, Carlos Garcia of Arkansas, Arturo Garcia of Mexico, and Alberto Garcia of Mexico.

Rogelio Rivera, de 55 años, falleció el día 7 de junio de 2021, en Crosbyton, Texas.  Los servicios para el Sr. Rivera serán a las 9:00a.m., el día 10 de junio de 2021, en la Iglesia Católica St. Jude en Tahoka, Texas, con el Padre John Rathinam oficiando.  El entierro seguirá en Nevels  Memorial Park  en Tahoka, Texas, bajo la dirección de Calvillo Funeral Home. La visualización será de 12:00-9:00 pm el día de miércoles, 9 de junio de 2021, con un rosario a las 7:00 p.m. el mismo día en Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel (Tahoka, Texas).

Rogelio nació el 25 de agosto de 1965 en San Luis Potosí, México, hijo de Carlos y María García.  Se casó con Leticia Rodríguez en México el 24 de diciembre de 2001. Trabajó para R.E. Janes Gravel Co., como operador de máquinas durante muchos años. Fue miembro de la Iglesia Católica de San Judas en Tahoka. Era muy trabajador y disfrutaba de la vida en muchos aspectos; especialmente jugando con sus hijos, riendo, bromeando y viajando. En muchos sentidos, era un hombre sencillo y nunca conoció a nadie que no conociera. Sin embargo, su mayor alegría en la vida fue pasar tiempo con su familia.

Le precede en la muerte su padre Carlos García (2007).

Le sobreviven su esposa Leticia García de Tahoka; su madre María García; un hijo; Rogelio García Jr. de Tahoka; dos hijas, Maribel García y Candy T. García ambos de Tahoka; tres hermanos, Carlos García de Arkansas, Arturo García de México y Alberto García de México.
