Raymond Hernandez Sr.

Raymond Mark Hernandez Sr., 40, of Lubbock, was called home into the Lord’s arms on Saturday, September 26, 2020. He was born on September 12, 1980 in Lubbock, Texas to Teresa (Nunez) Martinez. Raymond owned and operated Razors Motor Wash and had a desire for detailing cars. He enjoyed spending time with family more than anything, especially his brothers and closest uncle, Thomas Rodriguez. He was a very loving and kindhearted man. His sense of humor left his family with many great memories.

He is preceded in death by an uncle Cristobal Nunez and an aunt Frances Flores.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his girlfriend, Natalie De La Cruz of Lubbock; his mother Teresa Martinez and husband Angel of Lubbock; maternal grandparents Aurelia and Thomas Rodriguez of Lubbock; three brothers Armando Hernandez, James Hernandez, Gerald Jr. Narbaez and wife Jessica all of Lubbock; one sister Danelle and husband Michael Smith of Lubbock; five children Gabriella Hernandez, Isaac Hernandez, Lucy Hernandez, Hilaria Hernandez and Raymond Hernandez Jr. all of Lubbock; three grandchildren Azius Ramirez, Ariana Bazan and Thalia Bazan; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Viewing and visitation will begin at 3pm-8pm on Thursday, October 1, 2020 and Friday, October 2, 2020 10am-8pm at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel. A prayer service will be held at 6pm on Friday, October 2, 2020 at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 10am on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in The City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home.

According to local and state guidelines, facemasks will be required at all times during visitation and funeral services.
