Ralph Diaz

Viewing and visitation for Ralph Diaz, 63, of Slaton will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, January 18, 2021 in the Chapel of Calvillo Funeral Home-Lubbock. With a rosary beginning at 11:00 am the same day.  Following the visitation, graveside services will begin at 2:00p.m., the same day January 18, 2021 at Englewood Cemetery in Slaton with Deacon Phillip Maldonado. Mr. Diaz was called to be with the Lord, Friday, January 15, 2021. He was born on November 14, 1957, in Slaton, Texas to Trinidad and Christina Diaz. He enjoyed watching television, in particular football. His other hobbies included listening to Tejano music and playing with his pets. However, Ralph’s greatest joy in life was spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by Father Trinidad Diaz and by two brothers Ray Diaz Sr. and Joe Diaz.

Survivors include his daughter Kathy Flores; his mother Christina Diaz; three brothers Johnny Diaz, Robert Diaz, Reynaldo Diaz Jr.; sisters Frances Ruiz, Louisa Gonzales and Irene Gutierrez and two granddaughters all of Slaton.
