Rosary for Neto Holguin Sr., 75 of Lubbock will be today at 7 PM at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Monsignor Jim O'Connor officiating. Burial will be in The City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel.
Neto went to be with the Lord on Friday November 11, 2014 in Lubbock. He was born on January 17, 1939 in Marfa, Texas to the late David and Desideria Holguin.
He married Juanita Rubio on June 21, 1958 in Midland. They moved to Lubbock in 1961 from Midland. Neto was a landscaper by trade working for Buddy Davis.
Neto Loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He loved to fish, camping out, football and softball.
Survivors include his wife Juanita Holguin of Lubbock, a daughter Naomi and Rudy Morales , three sons George Holguin, Ernest R. Jr. and Yolanda Holguin, Daniel and Estella Holguin all of Lubbock, four brothers Angel Holguin of Lubbock, Manuel Holguin, Domingo Holguin both of Midland and Enrique Holguin of San Angelo, three sisters Elidia Olguin, Carolina Holguin and Yolanda Ramirez all of Midland, his grandchildren Marie (Adam), Missy (Eric), Chris (Michelle), Matthew,
Erica (Anthony), Joshua,Jacob (Brenda), Tammie (Jose),Crystal (Juan) his great grandchildren, Adam Jr, Kalen, Kenzie,Gage, Angelyse, Disaya, Noah, Jayva, Ace, Madalynn, Marcos, Joshua, Jacob, Jeremiah, Emily, Nevaeh, Anna Alicia, Ricky Jay, Breanna, Jacob Jr, Joseph and a great great granddaughter Alora.
