Natalia Campos

Rosary for Natalia M. Campos, 78 of Lubbock will be Sunday, May 3, 2020 at 3 PM at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel-Lubbock. With viewing beginning the same day, 10 am-6pm at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel-Lubbock. Graveside services will be Monday, May 4, 2020, at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park with Father Reymundo Manriquez officiating (due to the current pandemic associated with covid-19 only; twenty people at any given time will be allowed into the chapel.) Arrangements were made under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home & Chapel.

Natalia went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 29, 2020. She was born on December 1, 1941 in Ropesville to the late Eusebio and Petra Mercado. On June 28, 1958 Natalia, married Ramiro Campos in Lubbock. She was a catholic and a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Before retiring, Natalia worked as an executive, for the Community Health Care of Lubbock for numerous years. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and traveling. Her greatest joy in life, however, was spending time with her family.

Natalia is preceded in death by her loving husband Ramiro Campos; her parents Eusebio and Petra Mercado; a daughter Alicia Ortiz (1992).

Survivors include her two sons, Ricardo Campos of Lubbock and Roberto Campos of Lubbock; a daughter Josie Garza of Lubbock; brother Tony Mercado of Denver City; three sisters Lupe Campos of Levelland, Margie Flores of Colorado and Sara Mendoza of Abernathy; twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
