Maximino Ortiz

Prayer services for Maximino "DJ Max" Ortiz 56 of Lubbock will be Wednesday at 6:30 PM at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be on Thursday  October 13, 2016 at 10 AM at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel.
DJ Max went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 8, 2016. He was born on August 2, 1960 in Denver, Colorado to the late Jose and Ester Ortiz.
He married Rosalinda Perez on December 8, 1983 in Lubbock. He was a floor tech for University Medical Center. He was a Broncos football fan. He loved music, and to cook out for his family. His grandchildren were his family treasure.
Survivors include his wife of Lubbock, a son Christopher Macias of Lubbock, four daughters Amanda (Arturo) Perez of, Ivonne Macias of, Erica Macias, and Jennifer (Chris) Zuniga all of Lubbock. A brother Eddie Ortiz of Denver, two sisters Diane Perez of Denver, Rosie Ortiz of Lubbock and nine grandchildren.
