Mary E. Trevino

The family of Mrs. Mary E. Trevino, 87 of Lubbock will receive friends and family from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 2, 2024, at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel with Lubbock LTC Hospice Chaplain Eric Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home.

Mary passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024. She was born April 20, 1937, in San Marcos, Texas to the late Pablo and Guadalupe Espinoza. She married Dolores S. Trevino “Lolo” on July 8, 1957, in Lubbock cherishing fifty-nine years of a loving marriage before he preceded her in death on January 1, 2017. Mary was a homemaker, she enjoyed reading, gardening, sewing and baking. She loved children and baby sat her grandchildren, great grandchildren and even friend’s children often. Her family was Mary’s greatest treasure and she made sure to raise them with great values. They will always cherish the memories they had with her.

She is preceded in death by her husband Dolores S. Trevino “Lolo”; her parents Pablo and Guadalupe Espinoza.

Survivors include five daughters Pearl Trevino of Lubbock, TX, Dolores Gerber of Falls Church, VA, Rosemary Gonzalez of New Deal, TX, Tomasa Rutter of Lubbock, TX and Lupe Gueye of Boston, MA; a sister Olga Rodriguez of Houston, TX; eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
