Martin Barrera, Sr.

Rosary for Martin Barrera Sr., 70 formally of O’Donnell will be on Monday, November 13, 2017, 7 PM at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel-Tahoka. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, November 14, 2017, 10AM at St. Jude Catholic Church in Tahoka with Father John Rathinam officiating. Burial will follow in the O’Donnell Cemetery.  Arrangements were made under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel.

Mr. Barrera passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 in Lubbock. He was born on April 14, 1947 in O’Donnell, TX to the late Guadalupe and Calistra Barrera. He was a farmer and a catholic. He loved to spend time working on crafts and computers.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Janette Barrera.

Survivors include sons Rocky Barrera of El Campo, Marin Barrera of Lubbock and Eric Barrera of Farwell; A daughter Annette Elizondo of El Campo; Sisters Margie Vidialier of Lafayette, LA and Susie Ortiz of Ulysses, KS.; Fifteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
