Martha Ann Rodriguez

Viewing and visitation for Martha Ann Rodriguez, 57 of Lubbock will begin Friday, May 31, 2024, 11:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m. at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel with a rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. the same evening. Funeral mass will begin 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Martin Pina officiating. All arrangements were made under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel.

On the afternoon of Wednesday, May 29, 2024, Martha went to be with the Lord. She was born on April 2, 1967, in Lorenzo, Texas, to Ben Jr. and Connie Sanchez. She later went on to graduate from Dunbar High School and worked as a Caretaker for numerous years dedicating her life to always helping those around her. She found fulfillment in taking care of her father and raising her grandchildren.

Her hobbies included collecting angels, listening to music, dancing cumbias, spending time with her dogs, and cheering passionately for her favorite football team the Dallas Cowboys.

May she rest in eternal peace knowing that her kindness and warmth live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Ben Sr. and Eloisa Sanchez, Primitivo and Martha Romo; also a sister Christina Sanchez.

Those left to cherish her memory are her parents Ben Jr. and Connie Sanchez; sons Nicholas Segura and Christopher Segura (Samantha); a brother Leroy Sanchez (Melissa); sisters Eloisa Rodriguez (Pedro) and Debbie Cranston; nine grandchildren all of Lubbock.
