Maria Rodriquez

Graveside services for Maria Santos Rodriquez, 72, of Liberal, KS will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2018 in O’Donnell Cemetery with Edward Gomez officiating. A prayer service will be held 7:00p.m., Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel-Tahoka. Arrangements we’re made under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home.

Maria passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018 in Kansas.  She was born October 31, 1945 in Tahoka, Texas to Servino and Rosa Jasso.  Her hobbies included watching movies, drinking a cold Dr. Pepper and conversating with her neighbors. Maria’s family will always remember how she loved to spend time with them as well as how much she loved to read the bible.

Her legacy includes four sons Edward Gomez of Tahoka, Victor Gomez, Frank Gomez and Israel  Rodriquez all of Kansas; five daughters Patricia Calvillo of Kansas, Christina Rodriquez of Slaton, Texas Hernandez of Arizona, Felicia Guerrero of Abilene and Mary Jo Michel of Kansas; brothers Sammy Jasso of Pampa and Weldon Jasso of Lubbock; sisters Janie Ramos of Houston, Mickey Martinez and Linda Komlofske both of Kansas; 34 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.
