Prayer services for Maria Estella Reyes 79 of Lubbock will be Tuesday May 12, 2015 at 7 PM at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10 AM Wednesday May 13, 2015 at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Rufas Martinez officiating. Cremation will follow under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home and Chape. Maria went to be with the Lord on Saturday May 9, 2015. She was born on February 2, 1936 in Brownsville,Texas to the late Valentine and Delia Rodriguez. She married Manuel F. Reyes on October 23,1954 in Brownsville,Texas. He preceded her in death on November 21, 1963.Maria enjoyed Shopping and especially attending estate sales. She loved to play bingo. Survivors include two sons Oscar Reyes of El Paso, Manuel Reyes of Kingwood, three daughters Irma Rodriguez of Houston, Yolanda Reyes and Delfina Howard both of Lubbock, a brother Manuel Rodriguez of Lubbock,two sisters Griselda Martinez and Alicia Narango both of Lubbock, 16 grandchildren 17 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
