Maria Losoya

Maria Lucinda Losoya, 60, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019 in Mercedes, Texas.  Services for Mrs. Losoya will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday February 26, 2019 at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel with Jessica Vargas officiating.  Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel.  A prayer service will be held 7:00 p.m., Monday February 25, 2019 with a viewing starting at 1:00pm at Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel.

Maria was born March 2, 1958 in Oxnard, California to Marcos and Esperanza Reyna.  She married Isidro Losoya in Claremore, OK. on August 17, 2005 and worked in agriculture as a farm hand for many years. She was a devoted Christian all her life. She enjoyed coloring, coloring books and loved to scribble.

She is survived by her husband Isidro Losoya of Lubbock, one son, Edward Zamarripa of Fresno, CA; four brothers, Ruben Reyna of Rio Grande Valley, Sergio, Javier and Woody Reyna all from Fresno CA; four sisters, Gloria Tremor, Martala Rodriguez, Martha Gamboa and Estella Reyna all from Fresno, CA.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one son, Isidro Losoya Jr. (Oct.28, 2005) of Fresno, CA.
