Obituary:
Marcella P. Alvarez, 58 passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Heritage Oaks Nursing Home. Services for Mrs. Alvarez will be 10:00 am Saturday, June 15, 2013 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Monsignor James O'Connor officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Calvillo Funeral Home. There will be a rosary held 7:00 pm, Friday, June 14, 2013 at Calvillo Funeral Home.

Marcella was born June 22, 1954 in Lubbock to Manuel V. & Maria Gonzales. She was a homemaker and enjoyed watching movies and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, Johnny Mireles of Dumas; Gerald Mireles of Lubbock, Paul Anthony Mireles of Blaine, MN; one daughter, Michelle Huber of Lubbock; two sisters, Lupe Martinez of Lubbock, Jovita Meier of Ft. Worth; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by one brother, Paul G. Gonzales; one sister, Rosalinda Gonzales.
