Manuel Rodriguez

Rosary for Manuel Rodriguez, 15, of Lubbock will be Sunday, June 14, 2020 at 7 PM at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel-Lubbock with viewing beginning the same day, 10 AM-9 PM at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel-Lubbock. Funeral services will be 10 AM, Monday, June 15, 2020, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Martin Pina officiating. Burial will follow in the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home.

Mr. Rodriguez went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 8, 2020. He was born on February 10, 2005. Manuel was an upcoming sophomore at Estacado High School. He was a hard worker and as a means to earn money he enjoyed cutting yards. He also liked to play basketball, football and rapping verses to music. His family will always cherish the memories they have with him.

He is preceded in death by his father Librado Mota on June 1, 2016.

Survivors include his mother Angie Garza of Lubbock; two brothers Michael Mota and Joe Mota both of Lubbock; four sisters Jessica Lee Campos, Julia Garza, Laureen Covarubbias and Cynthia R. Garza all of Lubbock; and a host of nieces and nephews.
