LOLA TELLO

Rosary for Lola Tello, 86 of Lubbock will be Thursday, May 7, 2020 at 3 PM at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel-Lubbock. With viewing beginning the same day, 10 am-6pm at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel-Lubbock. All Arrangements were made under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home & Chapel.

Lola went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 3, 2020. She was born on December 26, 1933 in Rosebud, TX to the late Marcello and Benita Tovar. Lola was a devoted Christian and a Catholic by faith. In 1954, she married Domingo Tello, Sr. in Slaton. Lola was a homemaker and loved to cook for her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Domingo Tello, Sr. (1975), her parents Marcello and Benita Tovar; two sons Marcello Tello and Frankie Tello.

Survivors include her two sons, Domingo Jr. and wife Sylvia Tello of Lubbock, Robert and wife Carol Tello of Lubbock; three daughters Mary Adam of Lubbock, Linda Garza of Lubbock, and Diane and husband Victor Vargas of Lubbock; brother Felix Tovar of Abernathy; three sisters Nelly Garcia of Ransom Canyon, Chita Ledesma of Abernathy and Borada Garcia of Crystal City; nineteen grandchildren; twenty nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
