Lola Ann was born November 22, 1964, in Lubbock, Texas of the late Glenda and Preston Brown. She was the wife of the late Alton Ham who passed away on September 18, 2009. Lola cared for many, as she was a nurse at many hospitals in California, where she lived her early days, and moved back to Lubbock as a nurse at the Montfort correctional unit. She was truly a woman of compassion, who touched multiple hearts throughout her years. A life that touches others will go on forever. She passed away peacefully in her daughter’s arms at home.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son Alton W. Ham Jr. of Lubbock; daughters; Suzie D. Ace of Lubbock, Aimee L Ham of Fort Worth, Destin D. Montana of Lubbock; one brother, Mark Brown of Abilene; one sister G’anna Brown of Lubbock; seven grandchildren; Mariah, Angelina, Nevaeh, Jay Jay Montana, Chloee Martinez, Hanna Ham, and Mackey Ace. Her memory will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
