A proud graduate of Lubbock Cooper High School, class of 1990, she went on to earn her Pharmaceutical Technician License, embodying the determination and ambition that defined her character. On June 24, 2000, Lisa married Joe Torres Jr. in Lubbock cherishing eighteen years of a loving marriage before he preceded her in death on September 8, 2018. Beyond her professional life, Lisa was known for her loving nature, her playful personality and how she found joy in the small things. She enjoyed spending time and making memories with her family and friends. Good days for her were never complete without her capturing the moments with her camera, often taking pictures of her food, or of herself to share with loved ones. Her playful spirit shone on special occasions, particularly on her birthday, when she treated herself to a trip to the casino.

She found happiness in baking and making desserts to bring smiles to the faces of her friends and loved ones. She enjoyed listening and singing along to country music. Getting her nails done was also a treat Lisa enjoyed, pampering herself with manicures, added a touch of sparkle to her already bright personality.

Lisa was a devoted member at Templo El Buen Pastor, she found solace and joy worshipping the Lord. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school, a role she held dear as one of her proudest accomplishments. Lisa S. Torres will be forever missed, but her radiant spirit will live on in the memories she created and the lives she touched.
