Viewing and visitation for Lillie Faye Dixon, 81, of Lubbock will be from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 10, 2021 in the Chapel of Calvillo Funeral Home. Graveside services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park with Pastor Justin Lawrence officiating, under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home & Chapel.
Ms. Dixon was called to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 3, 2021. She was born on February 1, 1939, in Novice, Texas to the late Allen and Beauty Roberson. Lillie was a selfless and hard worker all her life. She worked for Texas Instruments for many years and after retirement continued working for Dillard’s and Home Depot. She particularly enjoyed gardening and cooking whenever she had the time. She raised four children and also raised four grandchildren namely; Denesha Luke, Rodrick Luke, Shanika Luke, and Roscoe Boyd, III. It was just her character and selfless love for family and God that gave her strength.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter Janice Faye Luke; four brothers; Lenzel Roberson, Charles Roberson, Paul Ray Roberson and Dewayne Roberson.
Survivors include a son Victor Roberson and wife Pamela of Lubbock; two daughters: Deborah Luke of Dallas and Sharon Roberson of Lubbock; two brothers: Jimmy Earl Roberson of Houston and Gene Allen Roberson; two sisters: Willie Watkins and Gussie Marie Roberson; 13 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
According to local and state guidelines, facemasks will be required at all times during visitation and funeral services. Temperatures will be taken upon entering funeral home.
