Obituary:
Lidia Espinosa Cedillo, 84 passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at her residence. Services for Mrs. Cedillo will be 10:00 am Monday, August 12, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Andres Mendoza officiating. Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home. There will be a rosary held at 7:00 pm tonight at Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel.

Lidia was born December 16, 1928 in Elgin, Texas to Magdaleno and Maria De Jesus Espinosa. She was married to Dionicio Cedillo for over 48 years and participated with the Guadalupanas at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. She also enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family and grandkids and was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Gilbert Cedillo of Lubbock; five daughters, Helen Mendoza, Lupe Garcia, Gumesinda Trevino, Natalia Vasquez, Virginia Cedillo all of Lubbock; two sisters, Maria Espinosa of Florida, Genoveva Espinosa of Oregon; 17 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dionicio Cedillo Sr.; one son, Dionicio Cedillo Jr.; one grandson, Abel Romo Trevino; One great grandson, Eric Salvador; two sisters, Maria Ester Espinosa, Elena Espinosa; two brothers, Jose Espinosa, Carmelo Espinosa.
