Johnny Vasquez

Viewing and visitation for Johnny Vasquez, 36 of Lubbock will begin 10:00AM, Friday, November 8, 2019 at Calvillo Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held 7:00 PM, Friday, November 8, 2019 in the Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Calvillo Funeral Home with Rev. Cruz Reyna officiating. Burial will follow in Anton Cemetery under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel.

Johnny passed away Saturday, November 2, 2019. He was born on May 31, 1983 in Lubbock to Adelita Valenzuela. He worked as a landscaper for number of years.  He was a jokester at heart and would make everyone laugh.  He loved playing poker and loved his dog “Baby.”. Johnny also had a passion for riding motorcycles and had a deep love for his children.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother Ascensión Reyna; a sister Veronica Reyna; a brother Johnny Vargas and a cousin Joshua Salazar.

Survivors include his mother Adelita Valenzuela of Lubbock; three sons Elec Trevino, Zane Holcomb, Braxton Isaac Montelongo all of Lubbock; one daughter Briesaous Alazae Montelongo of Lubbock; three brothers Jessie Vargas, Daniel Vasquez and Christopher Vasquez all of Lubbock, one sister Isabel Vargas of Lubbock.
