Jerry Ann Martin

Viewing and visitation for Jerry Ann Martin, 75 of Belton, will be 1:00 p.m-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel-Tahoka. The family will receive family and friends from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. the same evening. A Celebration of Life will begin at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel-Tahoka with Rev. Kenneth Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Nevels Memorial Park under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel.

On the morning of Wednesday, March 19, 2025, Jerry went to be with the Lord. She was born September 29, 1949, in Tahoka, Texas to the late John L. and Jerlean Martin. Later in life she met Larry Hamilton, in which they cherished over twenty years together.

As a dietitian, Jerry touched many lives through her work, guiding people toward healthier choices with compassion and understanding. She approached her profession with the same warmth she brought into every aspect of her life, striving to uplift those she served with her knowledge and caring nature. Her career often entwined with her love and passion for cooking, creating numerous dishes which brought not only great joy to her but to others at the table.

Throughout her life, Jerry’s passions were as diverse as her expansive heart. She cherished listening to blues music, letting its rhythms intertwine with her spirit, and devoted countless moments to creating cherished memories with her family. To Jerry, family was everything; they were her greatest delight and her proudest achievement

She is preceded in death by her parents John L. and Jerlean Martin; her grandmother Lilly B. Catly; a sister Adell Martin Graves and a brother Sammie Martin.

She is survived by her loving partner Larry Hamilton of Belton, Texas; a son Anthony Justice of Lubbock; brothers Wilbert Martin of Tahoka, J.L. Martin of Kaufman, Texas, Tommy Martin of San Antonio, Texas, Donald Martin of Tahoka, Darrell Martin of Lubbock, Raydell Martin of Tahoka, W.J. "Dub" Martin of Tahoka, Lyndell Martin of Tahoka; a sister Katy Martin of Tahoka; five grandchildren Jaquez of Midland, Keshawn of Tahoka, Je’Rece of Temple, Alyssa of Temple, Keagon of Tahoka, and five great grandchildren.
