Isabell Torres

Isabell T. Torres, 77 passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Covenant Hospital.  Services for Mrs. Torres will be 10:00 am Friday, July 24, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe with Father Martin Pina officiating.  Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home. There will be a rosary held 7:00 pm Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Calvillo Funeral Home.

Isabell was born November 18, 1937 in Rosebud to Bernabe & Castula Trevino.  She married Meliton Torres on February 14, 1987 in Lubbock. She was a homemaker and a devout catholic serving as a Guadalupana for Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Meliton Torres of Lubbock; two sons, Robert Soto of Lubbock, Rene & Altagracia Soto of Alamo; five daughters, Nora Soto of Austin, Norma Linda & Joe Alonzo, Celina & Cornelio Gallegos, Sofia & Ruben Crotez all of Lubbock, Beck Lopez of San Juan; one sister, Ester Trevino of Lubbock; sixteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by three brothers, Primo Trevino, Lee Trevino, Ben Trevino; one son, Isidro Soto.
