Isabel Gutierrez

Viewing and visitation for Isabel P. Gutierrez, 57, of Wolfforth will be from 10:00 a.m.to 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 22, 2021 at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel with a rosary beginning at 6:00 pm. the same day.  Graveside Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park with Deacon Juan Cavazos officiating. All arrangements were made under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel.

Isabel left to join her Lord and Savior on Friday, February 19, 2021.  She was born August 29, 1963 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Victor Sr. and Lucia Pena. In, 1992 Isabel met the love of her life, Joe Gutierrez, they were married on April 18, 2003 in Lubbock cherishing 28 years together. Isabel was Catholic, she always found time to spend with God, in particular through reading her bible. She worked four years for Frenship ISD as a Cafeteria Cashier, before retiring and becoming a homemaker. She enjoyed gazing at the stars through her telescope and gardening. Isabel loved her family very much, being surrounded by them always brought joy to her heart.

Preceding her in death are her parents Victor Sr. and Lucia Pena; a sister Irma Pena; and a brother Candelario Pena.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Joe Gutierrez of Wolfforth; sons George Muniz of Amarillo, Gabriel Gutierrez of Lubbock and Martin Gutierrez of Lubbock; a daughter Angie Pena of Lubbock; six brothers Victor Pena Jr. of Wolfforth, Paul Pena of Wolfforth, Vick Pena of Lubbock, Albert Pena of Lubbock, Raymond Pena of Wolfforth, and David Pena of Lubbock; four sisters Linda Garcia of Abilene, Olivia Pena , Beatrice Pena Martinez and Ramona Pena all of Lubbock; fifteen grandchildren

According to local and state guidelines, facemasks will be required at all times during visitation and funeral services. Temperatures will be taken upon entering funeral home
