Guillermo "Willie" Ramirez

Guillermo “Willie” Ramirez, 59 of Lubbock, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023. A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel-Lubbock with Pastors Mike and Gloria Moreno officiating. All arrangements were made under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home & Chapel.
 
Guillermo was born January 30, 1964, to Carlos and Concepcion Ramirez. Formally of Brownfield, is where he met and married Amalia Rodriguez, they cherished forty loving years together. “Willie” as he was affectionally known, worked as a truck driver for numerous years before retiring. He enjoyed collecting cars and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Willie be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.    
 
He is preceded in death by his parents Carlos and Concepcion Ramirez, and a brother Julio Ramirez.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Amalia Ramirez of Lubbock; two sons Chris Ramirez and Jessie Ramirez both of Lubbock; three daughters Kristen Ramirez, Destiny Ramirez and Cassandra Ramirez all of Lubbock; two stepsons David and Albert of Lubbock; a brother Robert Ramirez of Brownfield; and twenty-eight grandchildren.
