Guadalupe Ybarra

Guadalupe “Lupe” Ybarra, 91 passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at University Medical Center.    A Memorial Service for Mrs. Ybarra will be 10:00 am Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Maranatha Church with Pastor Elias Garcia officiating.  Arrangements were made under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home.

Lupe was born September 27, 1923 in Bend, CO to Ezequiel & Delores Ybarra.  She married Stan Ybarra on September 22, 1947 in Syracuse, KS.  She worked as a homemaker and enjoyed reading, writing, watching wrestling and gameshows with family and spending time with her family.

She is survived by four sons & daughters in-law, Peter & Wanda Ybarra of Great Bend, KS, Stan & Rita Ybarra, Tony Ybarra all of Lamar, CO, Louis & Evie Ybarra of Levelland; five daughters and sons-in-law, Isabel & Raymond Amador of Great Bend, KS, Joann & Uriel Esquivel of Lamar, CO, Ufemia & Steve Campos of Manassas, VA, Mary & Carlos De La Virgen of Lamar, CO, Annette & Felix Castro of Lubbock; twenty five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.

Family would like to give special thanks to the staff at the MICU & Supportive care at University Medical Center for all of their help and care of Lupe.
