Gertrude Hostetter

Rosary for Gertrude Marie Hostetter, 96 of Lubbock will begin at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017 in the Covenant Hospital Chapel. Memorial services will be 4:00 pm, Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Covenant Hospital Chapel with Father Peter D’ Souza officiating.  Cremation arrangements we’re made under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home.

Gertude opened her eyes on earth on June 14, 1921 as well as opened her eyes in heaven on June 14, 2017. She was born to Charles and Margarite Harris, she later went onto marry Charles Jefferson, Sr. Gertrude was a member of the Catholic faith, loved to read and always had a solution to every problem with her great advice.

She is survived by sons Jeff Hostetter of Lubbock and Charles Hostetter of Sandusky, Ohio; and a Daughter Christina Flanagan of Tulia

She is preceded in death by a grandson David Jefferson Hostetter in 2000.
