Francisco Cabrera Jr.

Viewing and visitation for Francisco “Pancho” Cabrera Jr., 55, of Lubbock will be from 1:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m., Monday, December 28, 2020 at Calvillo Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be held 6:00 pm, the same day, Monday, December 28, 2020 in the Chapel of Calvillo Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park with Deacon Joe Morin under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home.

Mr. Cabrera was called to be with the Lord, Monday, December 21, 2020. He was born on April 29, 1965 in Plainview, Texas to Francisco Sr. and Paula Cabrera.  He worked in the cotton gin as a forklift driver for many years. He was a faithful Cowboys and Texas Tech Red Raiders fan.  He loved oldies music, always wearing a smile, making faces and making people laugh and that was just part of his character.  He loved his nephews and nieces and his memory will always be cherished and remembered.

Survivors include his mother, Paula Cabrera of Lubbock; one sister Rebecca Martinez of Lubbock and a host of nephews, and nieces.

He is preceded in death by his father Francisco Cabrera Sr; one brother Ernesto Cabrera.

According to local and state guidelines, facemasks will be required at all times during visitation and funeral services. Temperatures will be taken upon entering funeral home
