Viewing and visitation for Mr. Erminio A. Navarro, fondly known as "Chuco," 70 of Petersburg will begin Tuesday, May 14, 2024, 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m at Primera Iglesia Bautista Parsonage (1404 Ave J, Petersburg, Texas, 79250) with a Celebration of Life beginning at 6:00 p.m. the same evening and Rev. Juan Calderon officiating. All arrangements were made under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home & Chapel.
On the morning of Saturday, May 11, 2024, Erminio "Chuco" went to be with the Lord. He was born on July 2, 1953 in Petersburg, Texas to late Jose Sr. and Audrea Navarro. Erminio "Chuco" was a dedicated handyman who found joy in landscaping and had worked for the Center of Petersburg. Cherished by all who knew him, Erminio "Chuco" was very humble and someone who deeply cherished his family. His presence will be profoundly missed by those who had the privilege of crossing paths with him.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jose Sr. and Audrea Navarro; along with his brothers Eusebio Navarro, Victor Navarro, Clemente Navarro; sisters Panfila Navarro, Louisa Navarro, and Dionisia Castilleja.
He is survived by his brothers Juan Navarro of Lubbock, Martin Navarro (Victoria) of Petersburg, Roberto Navarro (Romelia) of Lubbock, Jose Jr. Navarro of Petersburg, Jesus Navarro (Barbara) of Canyon; Sisters Margarita Olivarez of Ft. Worth and Rosa Barns of Onalaska, Texas; as well as a host of nieces and nephews who will continue to carry forward his memory with love and respect.
In Lieu of flowers the family has requested all donations be made to The American Cancer Society (P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD, 21741).
The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at University Medical Center, Lakeside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carrillon and Beyond Faith Hospice Care. But most of all for everyone's prayers.
