Erineo Jimenez

Erineo P. Jimenez, 82, was born July 3, 1937 in Sinton, TX to Emilio Paiz and Eva Jimenez. He married Guadalupe Chavez on March 18, 1957, she preceded him on August 13, 2010. He worked as a truck driver for most of his life. He enjoyed farming, collecting cowboy hats, popping fireworks and apart from being a person with many skills, Erineo trained all his pets, raised horses, and also participated in cattle roundups. But above all of this; Erineo was a man with a lot of faith and a good family man who loved his family and grandchildren. His personality and loving kindness are traits that will be cherished by all who loved and knew him.

On the morning of March 10, 2020, surrounded by his family, Erineo P. Jimenez went to be with his Lord.  Those left to cherish his memory are; six sons, Ernest Jimenez of Baycliff, Texas, Erineo Jimenez Jr. of Lubbock, Ruben Jimenez of Jasper, James Jimenez of Lubbock, Rudy Jimenez of Lubbock, Albert Jimenez of Colmesneil, Texas; two daughters, Ilda Martinez of Lubbock, Delia Jimenez of Lubbock; two brothers Lionel Jimenez of Abilene, Candelario Jimenez of Abilene; one sister Adela Montez of Wolfforth; twenty three grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren,

He is preceded in death by his parents; Emilio Paiz and Eva Jimenez, his wife Guadalupe Chavez, two sons, Daniel Jimenez Sr., Robert Jimenez Sr.; two great grandsons, Robert Chavez Jimenez III, Joseph Elijah Jimenez.

Services for Erineo will be 1:00 pm Thursday, March 12, 2020 in The Chapel of Calvillo Funeral Home with Rev. Lionel Jimenez officiating.  Burial will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home. A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2020 starting at 10:00a.m.
