Edwviges Perez

Prayer services for Edwviges “Vicken” Perez, 75 of Petersburg will be Sunday June 4, 2017 at 7:00 pm in Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral services will be Monday June 5, 2017 at 1:00 pm in Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Diana Rodriguez officiating.  Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel.

Vicken passed away June 2, 2017 at her residence in Petersburg, Texas.  She was born June 26, 1941 in Pedro Meoqui, Chihuahua, Mexico to the late Felix and Delores Nieto.

She married Saul Perez in Pedro Meoqui, Chihuahua, Mexico on February 6, 1960 and he preceded her in death April 22, 2011.

She began working as a young girl and loved helping the family.  She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and attended church regularly.

Vicken is survived by three sons; Julian Perez, Hector Perez, and Guadalupe Perez all of Amherst, three daughters; Manuela Perez of Pedro Meoqui, Teresa Garcia of Littlefield, and Maria Garcia of Petersburg, two brothers; Francisco Nieto of Bovina, Patricio Nieto of Herford and one sister Teresa Nieto of Petdro Meoqui.

She is preceded in death by a son Miguel Angel Perez Nieto.
