Diana Mendez

Diana Sue Mendez ,58, was born June 12, 1962 in Lubbock to Gustavo Lucio & Janie Benitez.  Diana was raised in Lubbock, Texas and was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She was one who embraced every moment with her children and especially loved her role as ‘Nana’. Her home brought sleepovers, delicious home cooked meals, and random gifts as well as unwavering love; a trait which will be carried by her surviving family. She was a long-time member of the Jehovah’s Witness community originally baptized in June of 1978.  She loved to spread the Word of Jehovah with all she encountered and carried her faith till the end.

She was preceded by her Father, Gustavo Lucio and her mother Janie Benitez.

Diana is survived four children, Monica Reyna and Her husband Sonny Reyna, Jesse Ramirez Jr., Jessica Ramirez and Erica Mendez. A Grandmother to 12, and Great Grandmother to 3 and a sister to many siblings spanning all across Texas.  She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
