Daniel Jimenez Jr.

Visitation for Daniel Jimenez Jr., 39 of Lubbock, will begin on Monday, April 18, 2022, from 11:30 a.m.- 8:00 p.m. at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel with a rosary beginning at 6:00 pm the same evening. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Father Wesley Beal officiating. Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery. All arrangements were made under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home & Chapel.

Daniel went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 10, 2022. He was born on December 24, 1982, in Abilene to Daniel Sr. and Isabel Jimenez. On April 26, 2014, Daniel married Victoria Rodriguez in Lubbock. He was a hard worker and worked for Premier Auto as a mechanic for several years. Daniel had numerous interests in life including fishing, camping, barbequing, and being a softball coach. But mostly, he loved to attend gatherings with his family and friends. Those who loved him will always remember how Daniel was the life of the party and always made sure he kept everyone smiling.

He is preceded in death by his father Daniel Jimenez Sr. (2012), and his son Joseph Elijah Jimenez (2018)

Survivors include his loving wife Victoria Jimenez of Lubbock; three daughters, Layla Jimenez, Hayden Jimenez, and Danielle Jimenez all of Lubbock; his mother Isabel Jimenez of Lubbock; a sister Erica Calvert and husband John three nieces Bella Calvert, Mia Calvert and Callie Calvert all of Miami, Texas; maternal grandparents Aron and Josie Pena of Lubbock and a host cousins, uncles and aunts.
