Daniel Flores

Services for Daniel “Danny” Flores, 42 of Lubbock will be Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Joe Martinez officiating.  Burial will follow in the City of Lubbock Cemetery. Viewing will begin on Sunday, May 24, 2020 from 2:00pm-8:00pm and Monday, May 25, 2020 from 9:00 am to 9:00pm with a rosary at 7:00p.m. on the same day at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements were made under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel.

Daniel went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 20, 2020. He was born on September 19, 1977 in Lubbock, TX to the late Mauricio and Maria Flores. He was a catholic. Daniel had a passion for cooking. He worked as a cook for Texas Tech University for many years. Apart from cooking he enjoyed singing karaoke, listening to all kinds of music, and maintaining his appearance. Above all, Daniel enjoyed being in the company of his daughter, family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Mauricio and Maria Flores; his maternal grandparents Hippolito and Marcelina Zuniga.

Survivors include his daughter, Savannah Flores of Lubbock; three brothers, David Flores of Lubbock, Felix Salinas of Lubbock, and Robert Flores of Waco and a sister Rachel Flores of Valley Mills, Texas.
