Candelario Pena Sr

Candelario Pena Sr., 47 passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at Mi Casita Nursing Home.  Services for Mr. Pena will be 10:00 am Monday, February 1, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Martin Pina officiating.  Burial will follow in Wolfforth Cemetery under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home.  A rosary will be held 7:00 Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Calvillo Funeral Home & Chapel.

Candelario was born May 4, 1968 in Lubbock to Victor & Lucia Pena.  He worked in construction for most of his life and was a jokester.  He enjoyed catholic music, playing video games and walking his dogs but above all, he enjoyed playing with his children and spending time with his family.

He is survived by two sons, Candelario Pena Jr, Ezekiel Pena both of Wolfforth; four daughters, Kittannah Pena, Catalina Pena, Selena Pena, Heavenly Pena all of Lubbock; six brothers, Victor Pena Jr, Vic Pena, David Pena all of Lubbock, Paul Pena, Albert Pena, Ramon Pena all of Wolfforth; five sisters, Linda Garcia, Beatrice Martinez, Ramona Salas all of Lubbock, Isabel Gutierrez, Olivia Pena both of Wolfforth.

He is preceded in death by a son, Victor Pena Sr.; one daughter, Irma Pena.
