Rosary: Thursday 7:00 p.m. February 21, 2013, at Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel.
Obituary:
Asencion "Chon" Estrada, 82 passed away Monday, February18, 2013 at Southwest Medical Regional. Services for Mr. Estrada will be 10:00 am Friday, February 22, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Andres Mendoza officiating. Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home. There will be a rosary held 7:00 pm tonight at Calvillo Funeral Home.
Asencion was born August 30, 1930 in Belton to Marselo and Enriqueta Estrada. He worked for Jent's House of Music for many years and was a catholic.
He is survived by one brother, Pablo Estrada of Taylor; four sisters, Susan Quinteros of Oregon, Blasa Rios of Austin, Meme Baladares of San Angelo, Mary Valdez of Lubbock; lifelong friends, Juan & Helen Zuniga and their family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Juanita Alba.
The family of Mr. Estrada would like to send a special thanks to Ashley Hunter and all the staff at Southwest Medical Regional for all their care and support.
