Anna Maria Prieto

Viewing and visitation for Anna Maria “Momo” Prieto, 60 of Lubbock passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 will begin April 5, 2018 at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel. There will be a rosary at 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 6, 2018 as well in Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services for Ms. Prieto will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 7, 2018 at City of Lubbock Cemetery with Luis Prieto officiating. Under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel.

Anna Maria was born July 26, 1957 in San Angelo to Luis and Rosa Prieto and managed Rosita’s Café for twenty-two years. She loved to play video games and bingo. Her family will always remember her good cooking and the love she had for them.

She is preceded in death by a daughter Christina Prieto; her father Luis Prieto; three brothers Adam Prieto, Earnest Prieto and Steven Prieto; her grandmother Concepcion Garza; a great grandson Kirko Tenorio; and a loving pet “Blue”.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother Rosa Garza Prieto of Crowley; sons Michael T. Prieto and Steven Tenorio both of Lubbock; daughters Priscilla Prieto Balderas, Lori Ann Balderas and Judy Ann Tenorio all of Lubbock; brothers Luis Prieto of San Antonio, Joe Prieto of Lubbock, Martin Prieto of Midland and Raymon Prieto of Lubbock; sister Adela Prieto of San Angelo; seventeen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
