Andrew Portales

Andrew Portales, 44, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2019 in Lubbock. A Memorial Mass for Mr. Portales will be 2:00p.m., Friday, November 8, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Lubbock with Father Martin Pina officiating.  All arrangements were made under the direction of   Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel.

Andrew was born October 4, 1974 in Shelby, Michigan to Leopoldo and Maria Portales.  He worked in the agriculture business as a farmer for number of years.  He enjoyed many interests in life one of them was being a prankster at heart.  He also enjoyed dancing, listening to music, playing games on his tablet, watching tv and especially Ranger Walker, however, his greatest love was for his family.

He is survived by his parents Leopoldo and Maria Portales, four brothers, Arnold Portales of Meadow, Martin Portales of Spade, Leopoldo Portales Jr. of Lubbock, Rudy Portales of New Home., eight sisters, Mary Lou Ratliff of San Benito, Esperanza Portales of Jasper, Griselda Portales of Lubbock, Gloria Morado of Meadow, Christina Martinez of Florida, Susie Portales of Meadow, Mandy Portales of Lubbock, Irma Linda Portales of Meadow.
