On the morning of Sunday, March 30, 2025, Amalia, went to be with the Lord. She was born on May 4, 1947, in San Antonio, to the late Anastacio and Maria Magdalena Lopez. In 1978, she met the love of her life, Benito Moya, and on July 27, 1994, they were united in marriage in Brownfield. They cherished each other and built a loving home filled with warmth, laughter, and support. Together, they created a life of adventure, exploration, and shared dreams. Their marriage flourished, for twenty years wonderful years, before he preceded her in death in 1997.

Molly dedicated her career to serving others as a home health provider for the Brownfield Regional Center. With her compassionate spirit and unwavering dedication, she was more than just a caregiver, she was a beacon of hope and comfort for those she served. Her kindness and passion for helping others reflected her innate ability to connect with people; she was very sociable and never met a stranger. Everyone who crossed her path felt her genuine warmth and infectious smile.

Molly's life was enriched by a variety of interests and hobbies. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including listening to music, which accompanied her during evenings spent engaged in all kinds of books. She cherished watching football, passionately cheering for her beloved Texas Tech and Dallas Cowboys.

Molly was a true adventurer at heart, she delighted in traveling, always eager to explore new places alongside friends and family. She cherished her time outdoors, often walking around her neighborhood and exploring the parks nearby, energized by the beauty of nature and a deep appreciation for rocks, each one telling its own story.

Above all, Molly adored being a grandmother. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she took immense joy in attending their activities, cheering them on with unparalleled enthusiasm. Whether it was a school event or a sport, her presence was always a source of encouragement and love, ensuring that they felt the support of their biggest fan.

As we remember Molly, let us hold on to her memory—the laughter she shared, the conversations that deepened our bonds, and the kindness she imparted daily. She leaves behind a treasured trove of memories that will forever be etched in our hearts. Though she has departed from this world, her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those she loved and cared for. Molly’s legacy of compassion, love for family, and the joy of simple pleasures will remain alive in our hearts and minds.
