Amador Liendo Sr.

Viewing for Amador L. Liendo Sr., 67, of Tahoka, will begin Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 1:30 PM-8 PM at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel-Tahoka and on Sunday September 13, 2020 from 10 AM to 8 PM Funeral services will be held Monday, September 14, 2020 at 10 AM Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel-Tahoka with Rev. Lee Gamez officiating. Burial will follow in Nevels Memorial Park under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home.

Mr. Liendo went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 10, 2020. He was born on April 20, 1953 in Staples, Texas to the late Guadalupe (2004) and Consuelo Liendo (2012). Later in life on May 16, 1971 he married Soyla Segovia in Tahoka. He retired from Tahoka Independent School district as Grounds Keeper for Tahoka ISD. Amador was a lifelong resident of Tahoka and was a farmer for numerous years as well. He was also a mechanic, enjoyed making hotrods and drag racing, however; apart from being a hard worker and a person with many skills, he Ministered to all serving the Lord. He loved to help the poor often fixing peoples home with his own money. He supported Feed The Children. He enjoyed being with his family.  His family will always cherish the memories they have with him.

He is preceded in death by two brothers Guadalupe Liendo Jr. (1979) and Manuel Liendo ;two sisters, Petra Sepeda (2002) and Hortencia Sepeda (2015).

Survivors include his loving wife Soyla Liendo of Tahoka; three sons, Amador Liendo Jr. of Tahoka, Alvin Patrick Liendo of  Damascus,Virginia and Allen Henry Liendo of Lubbock; three daughters Yvonne Liendo of Tahoka, Velma Liendo  Sikes of Bangs, Nora Liendo Easley of Lubbock; four brothers Jesus Liendo, Martin Liendo, Jose Liendo and George Liendo all of Tahoka; Seven sisters Elena Valverde of Tahoka, Rosa Liendo of Tahoka, Eva Sandoval of Lubbock, Maria Liendo of Bovina, Eloisa Quintero of Tahoka, Martha Gonzales of Lubbock and Julia Quintero of Tahoka; twenty five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be his grandchildren: James Chavarria ,Giovanni Valencia, Amador Liendo III, Alex Liendo, Mike Esparza Jr, Angelo Liendo, Sean Liendo, Adam Liendo, Xavier Perez, Juan F. Charon Jr. and Thomas Daniel Calvillo.
