Alicia Landin

Alicia Merenciana Landin, 56, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 8, 2019 in Lubbock.  Services for Ms. Landin will be 10:00 AM Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel with Pastor Jessie Garza officiating. Burial will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home and Chapel. Visitation will begin Tuesday September 10, 2019 from 3:00-9:00 pm and on Wednesday September 11, 2019 from 10:00am to 9:00pm. with a prayer service at 7:00 PM on the same day.

Alicia was born August 4, 1963 in Lubbock to the late Domingo and Criselda Landin.  She worked for Rancho Grande Restaurant as a cook for many years. Alice was a beautiful loving, caring person.  She loved to cook and share her cooking with friends and neighbors.  She loved her Bible Studies and open her doors to friends and family in need.  She had a heart of gold and love to make people laugh.  She will be missed by everyone she knew and whose heart she touched, RIP sister.

She is survived by one son; Jose Ricardo “Jr” Hernandez of Lubbock; three daughters, Jessica Marie Hernandez, Krystal Cerna and Ana Cerna all from Lubbock; three brothers, Richard Landin, Joe Landin, Leo Sanchez lll, all of Lubbock; one sister, Janie Landin of Lubbock; eleven grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by a sister Criselda Landin of Phoenix (September 2017).
